Step-by-Step Guide to Filling an Empty Vape Cartridge

                                                                                                                                                                                      

• Step 1: Choose Your Cannabis Distillate Oil

Be aware of your local laws and clientele, choose a cannabis distillate that's best for you. We suggest filling with THC, HHC, CRD or even stronger variations like HHC-P, THCJD, THC-P. Be extremely careful when using stronger variations and only add maximum 10% of them into the vape, fill the rest with CBD, CRD or a less potent cannabinoid. Make sure to always add terpenes so that your vapes taste amazing, otherwise your vapes will have no flavour and in worse cases they might even taste like plastic. • Step 2: Prepare Your Cannabis Distillate Oil for filling

A few distillates are very high viscosity and need to be warmed up before they turn into a liquid form and can be used to fill your empty 510 vape cartridges. The best method for heating up your distillate is by using a heated magnetic stirrer and putting the oil into a beaker. Make sure to never put the heat higher than 60-70°C. The distillate will evaporate and lose potency under high heat. If your distillate oil is too thick to pour out of it's original bottle or syringe then we suggest partially putting it into some hot water that is around 40-70°C and keeping it there until it the viscosity lowers.

Step 3: Fill the Filling Machine or Syringe
When using syringes, fill your syringe carefully and with gloves, as the oil is hot. We recommend using distillate filling machines and those usually have a minimum capacity of 100ml-1.2L. This method is better since you can empty the beaker into the filling machine. With syringes you will have to keep refilling the syringe and keeping the oil under low heat so it doesn't thicken again.

 

Step 4: Fill the Empty Vape Cartridge
Insert the the tip of your filling machine handle or needle of the syringe into the filling hole of the empty cartridge. Fill the cart with the amount of distillate that it has capacity for. For example fill it with 1ml of distillate if the cartridge has a capacity of 1ml. Cartridges usually come in 0.5ml, 1ml and 2ml more options. According to your device to setting the fill quantity.

Step 5: Reassemble the Cartridge
After filling make sure there is no distillate outside of the glass. Reassemble the cartridge by screwing the cap or mouthpiece in. Make sure you reassemble the vape very shortly after filling as this will create a vacuum, failure to do this may cause leaking.

Step 6: Let the Filled Vape Cartridge Sit
Allow the filled cartridge to be in the upright position for about 60 minutes before use. This is to avoid leaking and to ensure the distillate mixes in the tank. After waiting you can test the cart.
